On today’s menu, there will be: Hot Links or Hot Dogs with Chips, Cheeseburgers with Potato Chips, Pot Stickers, Orange Chicken with Rice and Pesto Pizza.
Remember, breakfast, lunch and supper is served daily and free for all students.
Pirates, if you have lost or misplaced any items, come to the AP Office to claim your lost items before Tuesday. We will be donating any remaining items on Wednesday.
Seniors! If you have submitted your college applications, you might be wondering what you should expect next. Join us at the College and Career Center TODAY, after school for a workshop to help get your questions answered and to celebrate the hard work that you have done!
Orchestra is having their Mid-Year concert on Wednesday, January 31 @7pm. Admission is free, but bring cash to buy your friend or student a rose! This concert showcases smaller groups. Ask your friend or student if they will be performing and come out and support them! Fill your evening with a variety of music, we look forward to seeing you!
Hey, Juniors! You are invited to attend an information session about ScholarMatch. ScholarMatch supports first-generation students to and through college. Come learn more about the application process on Tuesday, January 30th, during lunch at the College and Career Center!
Seniors! Need help filling out FAFSA or CADAA? You and your family are invited to Cash for College Night on Thursday, February 1st from 6-8 pm at the SLHS main campus library to complete your application!
Students – are you in need of recovering credit or improving your grade in Algebra, Geometry or one of your English classes? SLHS is offering a zero period credit/grade recovery class this semester. Please see your counselor for this great opportunity!
January 30 is Fred T. Korematsu Day of Civil Liberties and the Constitution. Mr. Korematsu represented a movement calling out the injustices by the U.S. Government, involving the incarceration of Japanese American citizens. Mr. Korematsu had local roots in San Leandro. To learn more, see the flyers posted around school or see Ms. Wong in room 119.
