PIRATEEESS next week is homecoming spirit week! Here are the days to look out for:
Monday- Airport Lounge Day, wear your comfy clothes and bring anything but a backpack.
Tuesday- Meme Day, dress as your favorite meme.
Wednesday- Tack Tourist, embrace your inner tourist and wear your crazy wacky clothes.
Thursday- SubwaySurfer, show out wearing your street wear.
Friday- Rally day! Represent your class by wearing your class colors and or class theme!
Don’t forget to get your class point in the quad during lunch! The class with the most points will receive a prize which is still being decided! We cant wait to see your outfits!
Starting October 1st students must have a parking permit to park in the south lot parking lot. Parking permit applications can be picked up at the student bank and proof of insurance and registration are required. For students who have already submitted the form please stop by the student bank to pick up the pass.
Hey Pirates Homecoming tickets are now for sale in the school bank! Tickets are $20 presale and $25 at the door so make sure to get them!

Southern Alameda College and Career Night is happening on Monday, October 6th from 5-7pm in the Main Gym. This is a perfect opportunity for students & families to gain exposure to post-high school opportunities. At this event, you’ll connect directly with representatives from: Community colleges, Four-year colleges & universities, Career industries & trades and Scholarship programs. Hope to see you there!
We are excited to invite you to the DCAC/EAOP Southern Alameda County College & Career Night! This is your chance to learn about post-high school opportunities. At this event, you’ll connect directly with representatives from: Community colleges, Four-year colleges & universities, Career industries & trades and Scholarship programs. 53 different reps are scheduled to attend the night: 4 trades, 2 careers, 6 community resources, 34 colleges, and 5 CCCs! Monday, October 6 SLHS Students get in early at 4:30!

If you’re interested in attending the upcoming ROP field trip, make sure you complete the Google survey before this Friday. Spots are limited, so don’t wait! If you need the QR code for the survey, you can stop by and see Ms. David in the College and Career Center or Mr. Johnson in the AP office. Don’t miss out on this opportunity!
