Tomorrow, Thursday – Subway Surfers, show out wearing your street wear.
Friday- Rally day! Represent your class by wearing your class colors and or class theme!
Don’t forget to get your class point in the quad during lunch! The class with the most points will receive a prize which is still being decided.
HEY PIRATES Homecoming tickets are now for sale at the school bank! Please remember that this event is for current San Leandro High School students ONLY. Tickets are $20 presale, $15 with an ASB pass, and $25 at the door so make sure to get them!

PIRATESSS Do you want to be more involved in your class spirit? Join each class in their Homecoming rally Skit/performance!
Freshman- Practice is after school today and tomorrow, outside by the college and career center.
Sophomores- Your practice is today at lunch by the music building and tomorrow at lunch and after school by the music building.
Last but not least, seniors!! There is a MANDATORY dance practice today at lunch in the dance room located in the gym.
If you’re in the senior hoco skit or Interested in being in the skit, now’s your last chance! We’ll be working on placements and we want everyone included!

College and Career Announcements
The College and Career Center is excited to introduce Financial Aid Fridays. Starting this Friday October 10th, the CCC will be hosting a financial aid 101 workshop to help students understand what financial aid is! If you are interested in attending, stop by to sign up.

School of language!! Tomorrow is the Welcome Picnic located at the FTK Quad during 2nd and 4th period. See you there!
Calling all UNO fans! Our annual Fall UNO Tournament will be held October 28-30 at lunch in the library. Sign-ups are now available in the library. Students AND staff are encouraged to join the fun, and prizes are given to the winners of each round. The champion of the tournament will win the grand prize and bragging rights! See you there!
Hey Pirates, Do you want to find out more about the Ability Awareness Club? – We are currently planning a hands-on event at Halkin on November 7th. Elementary Students will learn about what it feels like to have actual different disabilities. Pirates, you will get a chance to lead stations as well. Come to our meetings on Monday at lunch time, in the library. Eat lunch first! See you there!
Is your bike making mystery sounds? Is it collecting dust in the garage? Does it have a flat tire or is it missing a part? If so, bring your bike on Thursday, October 9th from 12-2. The Bike Mobile will fix your bike for FREE. YES FREE!! It will be located next to the SLAM and 500 building next to the bike racks. The first 20 will get service .So first come first serve. They will even fill up all the tires in the bike racks too.
PIRATESS Therapy dogs will be in the main library today during lunch!
