El Torito is a restaurant famous for its Mexican food. It resides at 5 San Leandro Marina, San Leandro, sitting right next to the bay. When I went to go eat at El Torito on April 23, my family and I where able to eat during buffet hours, 9 AM to 2 PM. With the help of my siblings I was able to taste a lot of different food items. The two dishes that I was able to try that I thought weren’t too great were the macaroni and cheese and the brown rice. The macaroni and cheese did not have a cheese taste. It’s half the name and they didn’t get it right. The rice had an overwhelming taste of onion which I did not find pleasant.
The enchilada had a lot of flavor that was enhanced by the sauce and cheese on top. The aguachile was very spicy with good shrimp and cucumber as any aguachile should have.
Out of every time that I’ve come to El Torito, there has never been one problem with the staff, they are polite and willing to help with anything. I would definitely recommend checking this restaurant out.
