On today’s menu, there will be: BBQ Chicken with Mac n Cheese, Cheeseburger with Potato Chips, Chicken Chow Mein, Deep Dish Pizza, and Sushi

Soup is on! The Business Academy has once again partnered with food services to distribute soup and a sandwich -come get yours at the business academy portables.

Remember, breakfast, lunch and supper is served daily and free for all students.

Class / School Announcements

Hey Seniors and Juniors, make sure to get your class merch at the student bank!
Students, just a reminder you are required to have your Student ID at all times. You must be able to show a staff member when asked. If you do not have one, you can go to the Bank and get one printed.

Pirates! The theme of our Winter Formal is Masquerade Ball ! It will be held at the Marina Community Center and the dress code is formal wear + a mask! Tickets start at $25 and will increase overtime. This ticket includes entry, finger foods, and soft drinks. A vendor will be selling tacos from $3-5 which is not included in the ticket price. This dance is open to all grades so we hope to see you there!!

You asked, we’re delivering! Guest tickets for the masquerade ball are now being sold at the student bank. Go to the student bank to pick up your guest bid ASAP!

College and Career Announcements

Hey, Seniors! Need help filling out your FAFSA or CADAA? You and your family are invited to Cash for College Night on Thursday, January 16th from 5-7 pm at the SLHS library to complete your application! We will have financial aid experts available to answer all of your questions. Hope to see you there!

Club Announcements / Academy

Do you like to sing? We have three choirs at San Leandro High School. Choir, Show Choir, where we sing and dance, and Notables, our top choir that has performed in New York. Auditions for Notables are on Wednesday, January 29th at 3:00 pm in the black box. Come prepared to sing a song of your choice. Contact Ms. Dent if you have any questions.

Swim Team Conditioning has started! Join us Monday-Wednesday afterschool at the SLHS Pool if you’re interested in joining the team! See Coach Orona in Room 229 with any questions.

Attention all interested in playing football next year. We will be having a meeting on Thursday 1/9 (today) at lunch in the main gym. If you are interested in playing football in the fall make sure you are present for this meeting.

All interested in competing in track and field there will be a meeting on Monday, 1/14 at lunch in the gym.
