PIRATEEESS. ASB is excited to announce that we will be hosting a Holiday Movie Night. It will be located inside the FTK gym. Admission is free and so is the popcorn BUT ASB will be selling food as well as BA and SJA selling puerto rican food to help fundraise for the Puerto Rico field trip!
Make sure your name is perfect in the yearbook! Please check in the main office to make sure your name is correct. Scan the QR code to let the yearbook staff know if there are any issues with your name or if you have a dead name. Note: senior portraits will still appear in the yearbook; we’re only displaying ID pictures in the office.
SLHS ANNUAL CAN FOOD DRIVE IS HERE. PLEASE HELP YOUR COMMUNITY AND DAVIS STREET, AND BRING IN ANY CANNED OR NON PARISHABLE FOOD ITEMS TO DONATE TO DAVIS STREET. I know you all CAN do this!! The last day to help Davis Street is Tomorrow. Please bring in your CANS. They will all be collected tomorrow during your 4th period classes.
Orchestra would like to invite you to their first concert of the school year, TODAY Thursday, November 20, @7pm in the AEC. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for high school students! We can’t wait to have you join us for the Orchestra Fall Concert.

Seniors! Thanksgiving break is almost here, and the UC and CSU application deadline is right after break on November 30th.
That means this is your last week to come in and get help before we’re off for the holiday.
Come to the College & Career Center in Portable 400 during lunch or after school to work on your college and financial aid applications.
Don’t wait — come in this week and get your applications done before break!

SJA’s 17th annual One Love, One Mic is on Thursday, December 11th, in the AEC. Doors open at 4:30pm. Presale tickets are $5, they are going fast, it will be $10 at the door. It is a night of self expression and edutainment. To purchase tickets, go to tinyurl.com/SJAolom25.
Hey Pirates! Total Teen Takeover is coming to the Boys & Girls Club! This year’s theme is Friendsgiving, so remember that November 21st 2025, your Friday is covered. We are turning our gym into a roller-skating rink and will have a huge Friendsgiving feast with beautifully made soul food. There will be raffles, chances for prizes, and way more! And the best part is it’s free! HOWEVER IF YOU DO NOT SIGN UP YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ATTEND. So Remember, November 21st, Total Teen Takeover at Boys & Girls Club!
