Homework Lab is Open! Wednesday and Thursday from 3:15-4:30pm the Library is open for all! Make up a test, get homework help from teachers, use the computer lab, or just have a quiet space to work. We are here for you! Make sure you stop by the Cafeteria for supper first! See you in the Library!
SENIORSSS! The Senior Cruise is soon approaching.
It is scheduled for Saturday, February 7th, from 7:00 to 10:00 PM, departing from Jack London Square. Tickets go on sale today at the student bank for $70 and $80 for guests. Before buying a ticket, students MUST complete the clearance form found in the student bank! Guest bids are also available at the student bank.We hope to see you there!
Attention all students, would you like to be featured in the Journalism class’ magazine? It will feature students’ goals and aspirations. If so, please fill out the form provided in your email, QR codes posted around the school or check with Mr. Nichols in room 220 for more information.
PIRATES! Are you interested in running for ASB, Class Officer or being in the general Leadership class? Application packets will be available in Ms. King’s Room 215 starting next week, February 2nd to February 6th. Come stop by and pick up a packet if you’d like to join!
Sophomores and juniors! Are you interested in taking a poetry class? If so, then sign up for the elective, The American Poet’s Experience. You will learn about American poets and compose your own poems and songs. The world needs poets. The world needs your poems. Reclaim the pen to your narrative and tell your stories.
Boys Tennis: If you are interested in playing please meet Coach Jose in the gym on February 6th at lunch. Get to meet the coach and hear about important information regarding tryouts and the season.
Club and Academy Announcements
Operation Smile is hosting an oral hygiene product drive. We will be providing recovery gifts to patients who have recently undergone cleft surgery. We accept toothbrushes, floss picks, dental pickers and mouthwash, but all products must be packaged and unopened. For more information, follow our Instagram @slhs.opsmile
Our Band program Mid-Year Concerts are happening soon! Come join us on Tuesday, February 3rd, at 6:30 PM or our Jazz Band and Wednesday, February 4th at 6:30 PM for our Wind Ensemble. Both concerts will feature songs from groups and individual students! Tickets are $5 or $1 for students and faculty. More information is available on Instagram @sanleandrohsbands! See you there!
