PIRATES! Are you interested in running for ASB, Class Officer or being in the general Leadership class? Application packets will be available in Ms. King’s Room 215 up until TOMORROW and are DUE TOMORROW, February 6. Come stop by and pick up a packet if you’d like to join!

Friday- State your status! Wear red if you’re taken, white if you’re single, and pink if it is complicated!
As always pirates, make sure to show your spirit! Don’t forget to collect points in the Quad for your grade, we can’t wait to see your outfits!

Homework Lab is Open! Wednesday and Thursday from 3:15-4:30pm the Library is open for all! Make up a test, get homework help from teachers, use the computer lab, or just have a quiet space to work. We are here for you! Make sure you stop by the Cafeteria for supper first! See you in the Library!
SENIORSSS!! The Senior Cruise is THIS Saturday, February 7th. It is from 7-10 at Jack London Square. Join us for an evening on the SF Bay and amazing memories! Tickets are $75 for students and $85 for guests and can be purchased at the student bank. Be sure to get your tickets ASAP since this is the last week tickets will be sold!
College and Career Announcements
Attention seniors: The College & Career Center is hosting Financial Aid Workshops every Wednesday and Thursday starting February 4th this month to support students with FAFSA and CADAA. Workshops are available during Wednesdays: 3rd and 5th periods and Thursdays: 2nd and 4th periods. Sign-up is required for workshops, and passes will be provided based on your selected period. Please visit the College & Career Center to sign up or check campus flyers for more information.
Important reminder: If you do not plan to complete a financial aid application, you are still required to submit a Financial Aid Opt-Out Form, which can be picked up and completed at the College & Career Center.
Seniors, have you applied for financial aid for college yet? The deadline for getting a Cal Grant is March 2nd! Come to the College and Career Center to get help applying for FAFSA or the California Dream Act. Don’t miss out on thousands of dollars in free money for college!

Come join Orchestra this Friday, February 6th @ 7 PM for their Mid-Year Concert in the AEC! Support our talented orchestra students as they showcase their small group performances. $3 for students, $5 for adults!
Celebrate the Lunar New Year with SLHS! ASA is hosting this year’s Lunar New Year party to celebrate the year of the Horse. The party will be on Thursday February 12th in the Main Cafeteria at 5-7pm! Entry fee is $5. Everyone is welcome! Come have food, games, karaoke and arts and crafts. See you there!
