Homework Lab is open today! Teachers are available from 2:45-4:00pm. Come get extra help on your missing assignments!! Make up a test, get homework help from teachers, use the computer lab or just have a quiet space to work. We are here for you! Make sure you stop by the Cafeteria for supper first! PIRATESSSSSSSS! Get excited, because the SLHS Olympics are back! The Olympics is a week-long event where students and staff make teams and compete in fun, competitive games during lunch. SLHS Olympic packets are now available in room 215! Pick up your packets and begin creating your teams! Packets are due March 13th and games will occur March 24-27th.
Pirates, have you noticed the Share Table posters in the lunchroom? Please help us reduce fruit waste in the cafeteria. If you don’t want your fruit, place only whole, untouched items on a table in the cafeteria. Let’s take care of our food, our space, and each other. It’s a great way to reduce food waste and support our Pirate community. Thank you for doing your part!
Juniors and Seniors! Are you interested in being a Camp Counselor for James Madison’s science camp? Email Ms. King at jking@slusd or Come to Ms. King’s Room 215 to learn more! Forms will be due by Tuesday, March 24.
All students are invited to attend an author visit with SLHS Alum, Carolina Ixta, on Thursday, March 5. Sign up in the library and turn in a permission slip to attend the 2nd period event in the AEC, or the 4th period roundtable discussion in the library. See Ms. Sasaki with any questions!

Club and Academy Announcements
The Spring Musical, “The Little Mermaid” will play in the AEC March 20-22 and 27-29. Join us for some “Under the Sea” fun!
Wednesday the 4th of March, Business Academy will be selling burgers and fries after school at the student store as they will start to be selling different hot foods every other week! Make sure to stop by with friends!
ECO Club presents a school wide litter campaign to promote campus sustainability. Pick up pieces of litter and throw it into the nearest trash bin and take a photo and tag @ecoclub.slhs for an opportunity to win a $50 gift card, for more information please visit our Instagram @ecoclub.slhs
