Class/School Announcements
PIRATESSSSSSSS! Get excited, because the SLHS Olympics are back! The Olympics is a week-long event where students and staff make teams and compete in fun, competitive games during lunch. SLHS Olympic packets are now available in room 215! Pick up your packets and begin creating your teams! Packets are due March 13th and games will occur March 24-27th.
Juniors and Seniors! Are you interested in being a Camp Counselor for James Madison’s science camp? Email Ms. King at jking@slusd or Come to Ms. King’s Room 215 to learn more! Forms will be due by Tuesday, March 24.
Calling all students! Help feed our worms! Bring organic waste (leaves, apple cores, orange and banana peels) to Mr. Gordon’s room (345) and bury them in the bins. No dairy or meat, please! Drop-offs are welcome daily. Worms love that!

College and Career Announcements
EAOP advisors, Ms. Sierra and Ms. Torey are holding a presentation on community colleges and how to transfer routes. You will learn about the benefits of attending a CC, trade programs, career education programs and how to transfer to a four year university. Make sure to check your emails to sign up!

The Spring Musical, “The Little Mermaid” will play in the AEC March 20-22 and 27-29. Join us for some “Under the Sea” fun!

Julianna Morales is a senior and editor-in-chief in the Journalism 2 Honors class. Julianna loves the yearbook/ journalism program here at San Leandro High and plans on majoring in communications/ journalism in college. A fun fact about Julianna is that she has been playing softball since she was four years old, and has been on the San Leandro High Varsity Softball team for all 4 years.
