SLHS Juniors and Seniors… You are cordially invited to the Diamond Ball to a night of tea, dancing, and enjoyment at the Asian Art Museum on May 9 from 7-11 PM.
Prom tickets are NOW selling at the student bank
From April 13 to 24: student tickets are $150, guest tickets are $155.
From April 27 to May 1: student tickets are $155, guest tickets are $160.
NO TICKETS WILL BE SOLD THE WEEK OF PROM.

College and Career Announcements
Seniors! To celebrate your pathways after high school EAOP is hosting a Destination Day Celebration on Thursday, May 7th during lunch! Whether you’re heading to a community college, 4-year university, trade school, or pursuing another path, we want to celebrate your accomplishment! Join EAOP for a fun celebration with food, games, and more surprises! Stop by the CCC and check your emails to RSVP for the event!
Seniors! National Decision Day is May 1st. Make sure that you are submitting a Statement to Intent to Register or to the college you plan on attending in the FALL. Stop by the CCC to talk to EAOP advisers Ms. Sierra and Ms. Torey if you need support with making that decision.
Club and Academy Announcements
Let’s Spike Out Cancer!, starting Friday the Business Academy Student Store will be selling thrift items for a minimum donation of $1. 90% of proceeds from the month of April will be going towards our volleyball team’s Spike out Cancer fundraiser. You may also give donations specifically for that purpose, just come on down to our student store.
Join us in celebrating Earth Day Wednesday, April 22 during lunch in the quad. Come check out henna tattoos and caricatures on recycled paper for just $1 each, shop thrifted items from TAGS, and support our student makers promoting young entrepreneurship. You can also connect with eco club enthusiasts and enjoy a student-led fashion show focused on fighting fast fashion and supporting sustainability. Don’t miss out—small choices make a big impact!
On Friday, May 8th at 5:45 in the AEC, The K-pop club will be dancing to 11 different kpop songs. Tickets prices: $2.
Do you have talent that is multilingual and international? Do you have talent that you want to showcase? If you can sing, play music, dance, or want to perform, please audition for the 7th Annual ELD and World Languages Talent Showcase asap. Contact Ms. Wong or Mr. Fall now. Our showcase will take place on Wednesday, April 29 during period 5 and in the evening, starting at 6:30.
