SLHS Juniors and Seniors… You are cordially invited to the Diamond Ball to a night of tea, dancing, and enjoyment at the Asian Art Museum on May 9 from 7-11 PM.
Prom tickets are NOW selling at the student bank.
Student tickets are $155 and guest tickets for $160.

Boys Volleyball and the Academy for Business and Finance want to “Spike Out Cancer”! Come join us by the Business Academy Store feel free to donate to the cause and feel free to get a thrift item for a donation of a dollar or more. Thru the month of April. Each month we will be highlighting a new philanthropic project.
The SLHS library is hosting its Spring Smash Bros Tournament on May 7 & 8 at lunch. This is a team vs. team battle, so find your Player 2 and come on down to the library to sign up. May the best team win!
Pirates, have you noticed the Share Table posters in the lunchroom? Place only whole, unopened food items on the designated baskets or the cafeteria table. Let’s take care of the natural resources and our community. Thank you for doing your part!
College and Career Announcements
Seniors! National Decision Day is May 1st. Make sure that you are submitting a Statement to Intent to Register to the college you plan on attending in the FALL. Stop by the CCC to talk to EAOP advisers Ms. Sierra and Ms. Torey if you need support with making that decision.
Seniors! To celebrate your pathways after high school EAOP is hosting a Destination Day Celebration on Thursday, May 7th during lunch! Whether you’re heading to a community college, 4-year university, trade school, or pursuing another path, we want to celebrate your accomplishment! Join EAOP for a fun celebration with food, games, and more surprises! Stop by the CCC and check your emails to RSVP for the event!
Seniors, did you attend Roosevelt Elementary, John Muir or Bancroft? Come to the CCC to Ms. Olson’s desk to sign up to be considered for scholarships from them! The deadline to sign up is April 29th.
Club and Academy Announcements
On Friday, May 8th at 5:45 in the AEC, The K-pop club will be dancing to 11 different kpop songs. Tickets prices: $2.
The 6th Annual ELD and World Languages Talent Showcase is Wednesday, April 29 at 6:30 pm. Come see amazing singing, dancing, spoken word, and visual art from our talented multilingual students! Students will perform in Spanish, Chinese, Filipino, among other languages. The show is free for all community members.
