Seniors!! As you prepare for graduation and your final weeks on campus, we have one important housekeeping item to check off your list. Please remember that all take-home Chromebooks and chargers must be returned to the Main Office before the end of May. To ensure a smooth checkout process, we recommend dropping yours off as soon as you no longer need it for your final assignments. Congratulations on reaching this milestone—we are so proud of you!
Mr. Alvarado’s Graphic Design class welcomes everyone to an exhibit at San Leandro’s Main Public Library. We will be exhibiting 40 Health Poster Projects made by our extremely talented students. The opening reception is on May 12th, 6:00 to 7:00 PM. Please tell your friends and families and come out to support our awesome students.
SENIORS: Your caps/gowns will be delivered on Thursday, May 14 during Lunch in the Quad. This is the only delivery day so all seniors must pick up their cap/gown at this time. If you received a community service cord, you will also pick it up at this time.
Seniors, we are officially in the home stretch! Things are moving fast, and we are sending out important updates, deadlines, and graduation details every single day. To make sure you don’t miss out on senior events, cap and gown info, or final checkout procedures, please make it a habit to check your Parent Square every morning. Stay on top of your inbox so you can enjoy these final weeks stress-free!
Food prices are rising due to inflation. To keep our cafeteria sustainable, please be mindful of your portions. If you have any unopened whole-food items, please place them in the shared baskets or leave them on a cafeteria table for others. Let’s work together to stop food waste!
Club and Academy Announcements
Attention Seniors, The Journalism class is creating a Senior feature Magazine which will represent senior pirates in many different ways. We wish to include a picture of all senior athletes together. In this picture, we would capture you along with many other seniors in your sports gear. Save the date for Wednesday, May 13th, during the third period. Contact your coaches about getting your jerseys the day of.
Seniors! On Wednesday, May 13 during 5th period, we’ll be having our very last Senior Recess! Wait for the announcement to be excused, then come join us on the field for tons of fun field games, including water games! Don’t miss one of our final senior events together, and be sure to check out our Instagram, @SLHSCO26, for more updates!
Get ready for our Soak-a-Senior event happening May 13th during lunch! Come to the quad, cool off, and soak your favorite seniors for a good cause and a lot of fun! Prices are $1 for a cup, $2 for a bowl, $5 for a bucket, $7 for a bucket with ice, and $10 for ten seconds with the hose to spray any senior you choose! Don’t miss out, we’ll see you there!
