Good morning, Pirates! Today is Monday, January 22nd, 2024, and these are your daily announcements from the Leadership team.
On today’s menu, there will be: Just Like Popeyes Chicken Sandwiches, Cheeseburgers with Potato Chips, Pot Stickers, Orange Chicken with Rice and Pesto Pizza.
Remember, breakfast, lunch and supper is served daily and free for all students.
Remember, the first 10 minutes of lunch is for you to decide if you will eat at the main campus or FTK. After 10 minutes, there is NO movement between campuses!
Seniors, the green San Leandro Scholarship application is now available! Pick up a copy in the Counseling Office to be considered for hundreds of local scholarships for students in music, leadership, sports, and many other areas. About 100 seniors will receive scholarships from the San Leandro Scholarship Foundation, so apply soon!
Freshman! Are you interested in joining an academy? If you completed the academy interest form in your English class, please check your SLUSD emails for announcements regarding your academy’s presentation set for Jan 24th and Jan 25th this week. We are so excited to share more about our academies with you!

Hi seniors! The 2024-2025 FAFSA and CADAA are now open! The priority deadline for both financial aid applications is Tuesday, April 2nd.

For students applying for FAFSA, come to our FSA ID workshops at lunch every Wednesday and Thursday to get started on your application and create your FSA ID!
Seniors!!! If you have not ordered your cap and gown, please check your school email for information regarding how to place your order or stop by the AP office.

Girls Basketball will be playing Oakland High in the SLHS Main Campus Gym. JV plays at 4:30 and Varsity plays at 6:00PM.

Boys Basketball will be playing against Fortune Early College. JV plays at 5:00PM and Varsity plays at 6:30
