Good Morning Pirates! Today is Tuesday, January 30th, 2024 and these are your daily announcements from the Leadership team.
On today’s menu, there will be: Nachos, Spicy Chicken Tenders with Potato Wedges, Bahn-Mi Sandwiches, Teriyaki Chicken with Rice and Buffalo Chicken Pizza.

Pirates, if you have lost or misplaced any items, come to the AP Office to claim your lost items before Tuesday. We will be donating any remaining items on Wednesday.
Orchestra is having their Mid-Year concert TOMORROW @7pm. Admission is free, but bring cash to buy your friend or student a rose! This concert showcases smaller groups. Ask your friend or student if they will be performing and come out and support them! Fill your evening with a variety of music, we look forward to seeing you!

Seniors! Need help filling out FAFSA or CADAA? You and your family are invited to Cash for College Night on Thursday, February 1st from 6-8 pm at the SLHS main campus library to complete your application!
Students – are you in need of recovering credit or improving your grade in Algebra, Geometry or one of your English classes? SLHS is offering a zero period credit/grade recovery class this semester. Please see your counselor for this great opportunity!
TODAY is Fred T. Korematsu Day of Civil Liberties and the Constitution. Mr. Korematsu represented a movement calling out the injustices by the U.S. Government, involving the incarceration of Japanese American citizens. Mr. Korematsu had local roots in San Leandro. Wrestling will be participating in the WACC Tri Meet today at Mt. Eden High School at 4:00PM.

Girls Soccer will be playing against Arroyo High School. JV plays at 1:30PM and Varsity plays at 3:30PM.

Girls Basketball will be playing Castro Valley High in the SLHS Gym. JV plays at 5:30PM and Varsity plays at 7:00PM.

Boys Soccer will be playing Berkeley High. JV plays at 4:30PM and Varsity plays at 6:30PM.
