Good Morning, Pirates! Today is Wednesday, February 28th, 2024 and these are your daily announcements from the Leadership team.
On today’s menu, there will be: Popcorn Chicken with Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, Spicy Chicken Tenders with Potato Wedges, Bahn-Mi Sandwiches, Teriyaki Chicken with Rice, Buffalo Chicken Pizza.
Tomato soup and half a sandwich will be served at the student store window at Lunch. You will need to enter your ID number or for speedier service have your ID out.
Remember, breakfast, lunch and supper is served daily and free for all students.
Seniors! Your Senior and Junior class officers are hard at work planning this year’s prom. But we need your input on a prom theme! After counting the submissions of your prom theme suggestions, we narrowed it down to the top 4 most suggested prom themes. Vote for this year’s prom theme in the link, linked in your SLUSD emails from Ms. Boissevain!
Interested in applying to Portland State University? There will be an application workshop today, after school at the College and Career Center where you can receive a free application and potentially receive an admissions decision on the spot! Register in advance at the College and Career Center.
Pirates! Remember, the first 10 minutes of lunch is for you to decide if you will eat at the main campus or FTK. After 10 minutes, there is NO movement between campuses!
Attention all seniors! Need support with filling out the FAFSA or CADAA? Stop by the College and Career Center on Wednesdays and Thursdays during lunch for our financial aid application crunch workshops to submit before the April 2nd deadline! See you there.

Today, Varsity Boys Golf will be participating in the Cowboys Classic at Wente Golf Course.
Varsity Baseball will be playing away at American High at 3:30PM.
Varsity Badminton will be playing Tennyson High in the Main Gym at 4:00PM.
Varsity Boys Volleyball will be playing away at Tennyson High at 5:30PM.
Frosh Boys Volleyball will be playing Sacred Heart in the FTK Gym at 4:30PM.
