Good Morning Pirates! Today is Thursday, March 7th, 2024 and these are your daily announcements from the Leadership team.
On today’s menu, there will be: Pasta with Meat Sauce and Garlic Toast, Spicy Chicken Tenders with Potato Wedges, Sushi, Teriyaki Chicken with Rice, Sausage Pizza and Chicken Noodle soup with half a sandwich
Remember, breakfast, lunch and supper is served daily and free for all students.
Pirates! Remember, the first 10 minutes of lunch is for you to decide if you will eat at the main campus or FTK. After 10 minutes, there is NO movement between campuses!
Seniors! We need your input on a prom theme! We’ve narrowed the prom theme suggestions to the 4 most suggested themes. Vote for this year’s prom theme in the link, linked in your SLUSD emails from Ms. Boissevain!
Need support with filling out the FAFSA or CADAA? Stop by the College and Career Center on Wednesdays and Thursdays during lunch for our financial aid application crunch workshops to submit before the April 2nd deadline! See you there.
Sign up now to perform in the 5th Annual ELD and World Languages Talent Showcase! Auditions are all this week. Performances in all languages and representing all cultures are welcome! Go see Mr. Fall in room 358 on FTK or Ms. Wong in room 119 on main campus to sign up.
Are you a member of a club on campus looking to earn service hours? The swim team is looking for volunteers to help time lanes during our home meets. The first home meet is this Friday!!
All Meets start at 3:30PM and take place at SLHS Pool
The dates for home meets are Friday, March 8th ,Friday, March 22nd, and Friday, April 19th , Senior Night!

Club Advisers and presidents! Be sure to check your email and to RSVP for the picture day on 3/19 before Friday. If you don’t RSVP before Friday, your club will not be able to make it into the yearbook on time for publication.
Seniors, the San Leandro Teachers are offering a scholarship! You can pick up a copy of the application in the Counseling Office and start your application before March 31st. Seniors who are chosen for the SLTA scholarship will be recognized at a scholarship tea.
