Good Morning Pirates and Happy Friday! Today is March 8th, 2024 and these are your daily announcements from the Leadership team.
On today’s menu, there will be: Sonora Soft Tacos, Bahn-Mi Sandwich, Orange Chicken with Rice, BBQ Chicken Pizza and Tomato soup with half a sandwich.
Remember, breakfast, lunch and supper is served daily and free for all students.
We are excited to launch our first March Madness Attendance Campaign! This March is your opportunity to make every shot count, score a lot of points, and win fun prizes along the way!
Don’t forget to sign up for the Team Challenge by March 15th. We need at least 50 teams to participate!

Are you a member of a club on campus looking to earn service hours? The swim team is looking for volunteers to help time lanes during our home meets. The first home meet is today!!

All Meets start at 3:30PM and take place at SLHS Pool
The dates for home meets are Friday, March 8th ,Friday, March 22nd, and Friday, April 19th , Senior Night!

Club Advisers and presidents! Be sure to check your email and to RSVP for the picture day on 3/19 by today. If you don’t RSVP by today, your club will not be able to make it into the yearbook on time for publication.
Seniors, the San Leandro Teachers are offering a scholarship! You can pick up a copy of the application in the Counseling Office and start your application before March 31st. Seniors who are chosen for the SLTA scholarship will be recognized at a scholarship tea.

Today, the Swim team will be racing against Oakland High, Skyline and Oakland Tech in the SLHS Pool at 3:30PM.

Badminton will be playing Alameda High in the SLHS Gym at 4:00PM.

Boys Volleyball will be playing an away game at Alameda High. JV plays at 4:30 and Varsity plays at 5:30.

The JV Softball team will be playing Bishop O’Dowd at Burrell Field at 3:30PM.
