Good Morning, Pirates! Today is Wednesday, March 13th, 2024 and these are your daily announcements from the Leadership team.
On today’s menu, there will be: Popcorn Chicken with Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, Spicy Chicken Tenders with Potato Wedges, Bahn-Mi Sandwiches, Teriyaki Chicken with Rice, Buffalo Chicken Pizza and Tomato soup with half a sandwich.
Remember, breakfast, lunch and supper is served daily and free for all students.
Seniors, the San Leandro Teachers are offering a scholarship! You can pick up a copy of the application in the Counseling Office and start your application before March 31st. Seniors who are chosen for the SLTA scholarship will be recognized at a scholarship tea.
Join the San Leandro High Wind Ensemble and Jazz Bands at our Mid Year Concert Thursday March 28th from 6:30-8:30. The event will be at the AEC and tickets are $5. This concert is in collaboration with the East Bay Symphonic Band and proceeds will help pay for our upcoming trip to Six Flags.

The State Seal of Biliteracy is a gold seal on the diploma that recognizes graduates who demonstrate a high level of proficiency in languages in addition to English.
Students who are fluent in Vietnamese and want to earn their Seal of Biliteracy please come see Ms. Albright in room 112 to learn more. You must sign up by March 29th.
Interested in the Air Force? A recruiter will be tabling next Wednesday, March 20th during lunch at the Quad.
Interested in the Marine Corps or the Navy? There will be recruiters tabling tomorrow during lunch at the Quad!

The Track team will be competing at Hayward High at 4:00
Softball is playing against Berkeley High at 4:00. JV plays at Burrell Field and Varsity plays at Berkeley High.
Frosh Boys Volleyball will be playing Hayward High at 4:30.
Badminton will be playing away at Mt Eden at 4:00.
Varsity Boys Golf will be playing Encinal and Castro Valley at the Redwood Golf Course today at 3:30.
