Good Morning Pirates and Happy Friday! Today is March 22nd, 2024 and these are your daily announcements from the Leadership team.
On today’s menu, there will be: Sonoran Soft Tacos, Bahn-Mi Sandwich, Orange Chicken with Rice, BBQ Chicken Pizza and Tomato soup with half a sandwich.
Remember, breakfast, lunch and supper is served daily and free for all students.
Pirates, if you are interested in being a class or ASB officer then please pick up an election packet in the Leadership room, room 220, the main office or room 215. There will be an election information meeting this Friday in room 215 during lunch. Get involved and run for office Pirates.
Pirates, this year’s prom theme is Enchanted Garden! Prom is Saturday, May 11th, at the Galleria in San Francisco from 8-12. Tickets will go on sale next week starting at $135 dollars.
All Seniors and Juniors interested in fundraising to pay for your prom ticket? Stop by room 215 and get the information packet and forms. This year you will be selling Popcornopolis and Sensational Sweets. You can fundraise for prom, and yearbook. Sophomores and Freshmen can sell as well to pay for your yearbook. Please stop by during lunch
K-Pop Club is hosting a bake sale for Stray Kids’ anniversary after school on Monday, March 25th. Chocolate cupcakes will be for $3 and Rice Krispie Treats for $2. Show your love for Stray Kids or pick up a sweet after-school treat!
Interested in attending community college after high school? Or, interested in taking a concurrent enrollment class at a community college this summer? You are invited to attend the Community College Fair happening next Monday, March 25th after school on the Quad. Meet representatives from Chabot, College of Alameda, and Merritt College!

And now for your daily sports announcements…
The Swim team will be competing against Hayward, Tennyson and Mt. Eden High in the SLHS Pool at 3:30.
Softball will be playing San Lorenzo High at Burrell Field. JV plays at 4:00 and Varsity plays at 6:00.
Baseball will be paying Acalanes High at 4:00. Varsity plays at the SLHS field and JV plays away at Acalanes.
Badminton will be played against Castro Valley High at 4:00 in the SLHS Gym.
Boys Volleyball will be playing away against Castro Valley High. Frosh plays at 4:30, JV plays at 5:30 and Varsity plays at 6:30.
