Getting into Slam was my happiest experience, here at SLHS. When I got the email saying that I had gotten in, I was so excited that I storyboarded a whole animatic.I haven’t actually worked on it, but I was just really excited about being in Slam. I was turned onto the idea because of Ms. [Othen], my health and safety teacher freshman year. [She] actually got another one of our classmates into Slam, and she saw that we were both doing art and she was like, “Oh, you’re gonna be slam kids.” And we were like, “We didn’t even know that was an option.” But it ended up being true.
