Students and families will directly submit course requests through Aeries, with a step by step tutorial sent through Parent Square last Friday, January 23.Â
Due to technical difficulties, the course request system is not actively accepting submissions at this time. The counseling team said they are expecting to get the system working by the end of today, and latest, the end of the week.
During this time, the counselors recommend that students carefully look through the course options for their particular grade. The counseling team will still have to review and approve course requests to make sure that students are appropriately placed and supported. According to the Parent Square, the deadline for course requests is February 9, 2026.
In addition, all students who enroll into AP classes will have to sign a newly imposed Advanced Placement (AP) Contract. Once a student enrolls in an AP course they are committing to staying in the class for the rest of the academic school year, according to the Parent Square.Â
The counseling team will offer their support with this process at Open House, Thursday February 5, for those who need some guidance or have any questions.
