On May 4th, 2026, a workshop will be held for all incoming 9th grade families to discuss the transition from middle school to high school. The interactive session will take place in the San Leandro High cafeteria from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., according to Parent Square. 

Students and their families will be able to ask questions about what to expect and about transitioning into high school during the session. Dinner will be provided along with raffle prizes for participation. According to Parent Square, Spanish and Chinese translation will be provided as well.
